The Cleburne County Board of Registrars office is located on the first floor of the county courthouse in Heflin. The office is open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
 
To register to vote in Cleburne County, you must meet the following qualifications:
 
  • Be a United States Citizen
  • Reside in Cleburne County, Alabama
  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Have not been convicted of a disqualifying felony (or have rights restored)
  • Have not been legally declared "mentally incompetent" by a court
  • Complete and return a voter registration form at least 10 days before an election
 
Although no identification is required to register to vote, identification is required at voting booths.
